CONNECT GROUPS FALL SEMESTER
October 6 - December 21

CG EVERYONE
Similar to the CREED course, however, this course approaches from a different angle - starting in Genesis and continuing through the Bible (specifically OT), to develop important Biblical themes and concepts.
We are using the book Destiny Finder: A Practical Approach to Unlocking Your Destiny, written by Michael Brodeur. Our purpose is to equip believers to recognize their unique five-fold gift in the kingdom, stir God-given dreams, and implement a ministry action plan with accountability. This also allows us to develop a leadership pipeline within Oasis Church.
We are using the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (EHS), written by Peter Scazzero. EHS focuses on having a healthy relationship with God, yourself, and others. It emphasizes being authentic, vulnerable, and honest with both yourself and others, as well as expressing your emotions in a healthy way, rather than suppressing them. You will be guided into an experience of lasting, beneath-the-surface transformation in your relationship with Christ. Scazzero outlines the signs of emotionally unhealthy spirituality and provides seven biblical, reality-tested steps to becoming emotionally mature.

God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggle, and a reward for your faithfulness. HANG ON IN THERE! Most people are trying to live life at a fraction of their potential, and because of some unforeseen pain in their life, many back away from walking out their true purpose.
It doesn't have to be this way.

Join us as we journey through Pain to Purpose, based on a book by Dave Blackburn.
